About
The main meeting point of the Belgrade, popularly called "at the horse", is the starting point for the city tour. This jargon name was given after one of the most beautiful monuments of Belgrade, the bronze figure of prince Mihailo Obrenović on the horse, the founder of modern Serbia.
Raising this monument in 1882. began its urban formation, which today is one of the most beautiful squeres of the city. It is located in the center of Belgrade, between streets Knez Mihailova, Čika Ljubina and Vase Čarapića, surrounded by the buildings of the National Museum, the National Theater and The Boško Buha Theater. In addition to always packed restaurants and the atmosphere of the city, concerts, events and exhibitions are often organized on it.
The public area is accesible for persons with disabilities and persons with special needs.
