The Fountain has a bronze statue of boy Sava Petkovic, in the memory of the incident that took place on 3/15 June 1862. In that incident, an irritated Turkish soldier killed Sava with Bayonet - by one of the story versions. The official title of the sculpture is "The Boy with the crushed dipper". The memorial fountain was built in 1931 from the funds of Tomo Vanđel Foundation, and the author was a Serbian academic and sculptor Simeon Roksandić.
The object is accessible to persons with disabilities and persons with special needs from the sidewalk.
