About

Three hats Tavern is one of the oldest in Skadarlija street. Opened in 1864 in the house where it was previously a craft workshop, whose trademark was three tin hats. In 1901, cafe Dardanelles, which was a gathering place for Belgrade bohemians, was demolished, the Belgrade night life then moves to the Skadarlija, especially in Tri hats.

Many famous Belgrade artists and writers wrote and sang in this tavern. In Skadarlija then forged a conspiracy, issued newspapers and written songs. Through 3 hats then passed Djura Jaksic, who lived across the street from the cafe, Branislav Nusic, actor Cica Ilija Stanojevic, Tin Ujević... In recent years, the restaurant has hosted King Juan Carlos, George W. Bush, Vili Branta...

Three hats restaurant has 184 seats and an additional 80 in the garden. They serve specialties of national cuisine: hot and cold appetizers, soups, as well as traditional specialties from the grill. Among a variety of beverages offers a large selection of local spirits.

In addition to good food restaurant cafe Three hats is known for its great time, because every night you expect "tamburaši" live.
