About
The Slovenian hypermarket shopping center "Merkator" was opened at the beginning of December 2002 in New Belgrade. The total area is 52,400 square meters. There are 51 stores (boutiques, restaurants, children's toys, travel agencies, etc.) in Merkator and a hypermarket of 8,800 square meters in which 30,000 products are available to customers - from foodstuffs and goods for daily household needs, through textiles , home appliances, acoustics, tools, toys and school supplies.
40% of products are from Serbia and Slovenia and the rest from other countries. On the ground floor there is a spacious parking lot for the visitors. Special attention is paid to the disabled. Visit to the shopping center will be facilitated by their specialized parking lots, elevators, sidewalks, electric stairs and shopping carts.
The facility is accessible to persons with disabilities and persons with special needs.
