About
Kosančićev Venac is located in the heart of the city. Tiled with cobblestones, it retained the appearance and atmosphere of the 19th century, with galleries, wineries and cafes. This part of the city is decorated with Konak kneginje Ljubice, a gift from Prince Miloš Obrenović to his wife. Today it is a part of Belgrade City Museum.
Near the Konak is the Church of Holy Archangel Michael. Two Serbian reformers Dositej Obradović and Vuk Karadzić were buried here. Across the church is oldest Belgrade cafe "Znak pitanja" (?).
The public area was completely reconstructed 2018. and is less accesible to persons with disabilities and persons with special needs. Blind persons is suggested to come with escort.
